Lindsey Ellis Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations
Ellis is entering her 7th year as Head Coach & Director of Hockey Ops for the Sun Devils for the '22-'23 season. Ellis is a native of Arizona and grew up playing hockey in the Phoenix Valley. Ellis graduated from and played 4 years at Miami University-Ohio (ACHA DI) and was an assistant captain for 2 years. She is a two-time CCWHA Champion (2014 & 2015), 2014 ACHA DI National Champion, and 2015 ACHA DI National Runner-Up. She was voted 2022 WWCHL Coach of the Year.
She received her Master's in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. She is completing her Doctor of Education at Northeastern, with a research focus on team values and performance in sports teams.
In addition, Ellis is Commissioner for the Western Women's Collegiate Hockey League.
Kenzie Lyons Assistant Coach
Lyons is entering her 3rd year as Assistant Coach for the Sun Devils for the '22-'23 season. Lyons is an Arizona native. She graduated from and played 4 years at Nichols College (NCAA DIII) and was the team captain. She works primarily with the defensemen at ASU.
Mariah Trupp Assistant Coach
Trupp is entering her 5th year as an Assistant Coach for the Sun Devils for the '22-'23 season. Trupp is from Topeka, Kansas and graduated from and played four years at Plymouth State University (NCAA DIII).
She is also a Sun Devil and received her Master's of Accounting from Arizona State.
Marino is entering her 7th year as Goaltending and Mental Performance Coach for the Sun Devils for the '22-'23 season. Marino is a native of Arizona and grew up playing hockey in the Phoenix Valley. She graduated from and played 4 years at St. Norbert College (NCAA DIII) and was a team captain for 2 years. She is a Conference Champion (2013) and made a NCAA tournament appearance in 2013. She was previously the head goaltending coach for the Lady Coyotes.
She received her Master's from GCU in Professional Counseling.
