Lindsey Ellis
Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations

Ellis is entering her 11th season as Head Coach & Director of Hockey Ops for the Sun Devils for the 26-27 season. Ellis has led the women's hockey team to national prominence as a consistent Top 10 team in the nation. The Sun Devils have had four consecutive national tournament appearances and two WWCHL Conference Championships. During the 23-24 season, Ellis helped guide the team to an undefeated 18-0 record in WWCHL conference play. Ellis is a 3x WWCHL Coach of the Year (2022, 2023 & 2024).

Ellis was Head Coach of Team USA for the 2025 FISU Winter World University Games, leading the team to 4 of 6 wins in international play.


Ellis is a native of Arizona and grew up playing hockey in the Phoenix Valley. Ellis graduated from Miami University-Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Leadership and Management, where she played 4 years and was a 2 year team captain. She is a two-time CCWHA Champion (2014 & 2015), 2014 ACHA DI National Champion, and 2015 ACHA DI National Runner-Up.

She received her Master's in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. She is completing her Doctor of Education at Northeastern, with a research focus on team values and performance in sports teams.

Kenzie Pavlack
​Assistant Coach

Kenzie is entering her 7th season as an Assistant Coach, focusing on defense, for the Sun Devils for the 26–27 season. In her role, she helps leads the development of the team’s defensive core, emphasizing positional awareness, game understanding, and continuous growth on and off the ice. Kenzie is known for her
development-focused coaching style, helping players identify areas of opportunity while building the confidence and awareness needed to make adjustments and elevate their performance.

​A native of Scottsdale, Arizona, Kenzie began her hockey journey at the age of seven after transitioning from figure skating. She played youth hockey in Arizona before attending prep school in Pennsylvania, which led to her collegiate career at Nichols College. As a three-year captain at the NCAA Division III level, she demonstrated strong leadership and commitment throughout her playing career. Kenzie earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Nichols College, majoring in Marketing with a minor in International Business.

In addition to her work with ASU, Kenzie spent several years coaching with the Arizona Kachinas girls’ program, where she later served as Director of Development for three years, playing a role in shaping and advancing youth hockey in the state. She is passionate about continuing to grow the game while developing the next generation of student-athletes.

Outside of hockey, Kenzie is a Digital Marketing Supervisor at a marketing agency in Chandler, Arizona, where she has worked for six years. Her professional experience managing diverse teams and personalities translates directly into her coaching approach, reinforcing adaptability, patience, and effective communication within a team environment.

Sheridan Gloyd
Assistant Coach

Gloyd is entering her 3rd season as Assistant Coach for the Sun Devils for the 26-27 season.

Evan Hauser
Goaltending Coach

Evan Hauser is entering his 4th season as the Goaltending Coach for the Sun Devils for the 26-27 season. Originally from Minnesota, Evan brings a diverse background and well-rounded perspective to the ASU Women’s Hockey program. As the team’s Goaltending Coach, he draws on his experience as a former NCAA Division I student-athlete and his career as a working professional to support the development of current and prospective goaltenders.

Evan provides technical instruction while also emphasizing mental toughness, leadership, accountability, and execution; key attributes for success both on and off the ice. His ability to blend high-level athletic experience with real-world professional insight allows him to serve as both a coach and mentor within the program.

Evan competed as an NCAA Division I goaltender at the University of Alaska Anchorage from 2015–2017 and later spent a brief period at the University of Wisconsin–Stout before retiring from competitive hockey to focus on his career in tech startups and private equity. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.
