Benson Joins 23-24 Recruiting Class

Amanda Benson will join the 2023-2024 recruiting class for ASU and will join the Sun Devils as a defenseman. Benson hails from New Canaan, Connecticut and plays for the U19 CT Ice Cats. She also plays for her high school team, the New Canaan Rams, where she is team captain. On why ASU and ASU Women's Hockey, Benson says, "After visiting ASU and getting to meet the team and the coaching staff it became clear that ASU was the place for me. I love the campus and the new rink looks amazing! I can’t wait to join this team and help coach Ellis build a program that will compete for a national championship.
