Hauser named Goaltending Coach

A former NCAA Division I Goaltender, Evan Hauser brings a wealth of experience to the ASU Women’s Hockey program. As the Goalie Coach, he will provide guidance to current and prospective goaltenders to help them improve their game and offer mentorship on topics such as mental preparation, leadership, accountability, and execution.

Evan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and has held various strategic roles at innovative tech startups since retiring from hockey. His knowledge of the goaltending position paired with his ability to connect with others make him a valuable asset to the program by supporting a culture of growth and development for success both on and off the ice.

Evans says of the position, "My goal here is to build trust, have open communication, and offer the support and tools needed for the goaltenders to succeed on and off the ice. This approach will provide the team the best possible outcome when it comes to game day – and in the future, a championship season."
